I don't know if many of you know that one of the biggest and most ruthless drug lords in US history was a woman but if you've seen Cocaine Cowboys (sick documentary) then you know I'm talking about Griselda Blanco better known as The Godmother. If you don't know about The Godmother then check out the article Maxim just did oh her and be sure to cop Cocaine Cowboys 1 & 2 because it will school you on some serious American History. Here's an excerpt of the article "In her utter ruthlessness, Blanco was unique. If you purchased drugs from her and failed to pay her back promptly, Blanco would kill you. If she bought drugs from you and didn’t feel like paying, she would kill you. When ordering a hit, Blanco instructed her assassins to kill everybody in the vicinity, including women and children. But the violence paid off. Soon the Godmother ran a distribution network stretching from coast to coast, had thousands of employees, and was raking in $80 million a month."
