"If Dorothy were living in the 21st century, what would she wear?" is the question behind The Wizard of Oz Ruby Slipper Collection. To celebrate the film's 70th anniversary coming up next year, Warner Bros and Swarovski have commissioned some big name designers to put a fresh new spin on the infamous red shoes. Christian Louboutin, Jimmy Choo, Manolo Blahnik and Stuart Weitzman are a few among the only 19 designers that were chosen to participate in the exhibition.

The shoes will be part of a moving museum that will be debuting on September 4th in the windows of Saks Fifth Avenue in NYC and will all feature jewels from Swarovski. There will also be an auction with all the proceeds going to the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation. I'm dying to hit this up so bad but Jah knows Montreal will not be a stop along the way :(!!
